Care and cleaning of your glasses

Whether they are sunglasses or prescription glasses, our beloved glasses deserve the best care and must be looked after so that they remain by our side, or rather on our nose, for as long as possible.

They face all our daily adventures together with us, remaining in close contact with our face and deserve the best care and attention for both the frame and the lenses.

Quick dry cleaning

It is known that the city environment does not help... smog, sweat, dirt, dust and the inevitable fingerprint are the worst daily dangers.

To restore the frame to its optimal condition and make the lenses clear again, it is necessary to dry clean them, absolutely forgetting the edge of the shirt or t-shirt that can scratch the lenses and using only our cloth that we provide with your Mira.

Thorough cleaning

At the end of the day, your Mira deserves more. If the lenses are particularly dirty and a dry cleaning is not enough, the glasses will need a well-deserved "shower" to relax.

A deeper cleaning, capable of bringing out the details that have won you over. Warm water and neutral soap, absolutely not oily, are simple but perfect ingredients to do an excellent job that will be completed with drying performed with a soft cloth.

Do not use the hair dryer under any circumstances.

Alternatively, if you are in a hurry or simply want a quick solution, you can use a lens and frame cleaning spray that is easily available from your trusted optician.

Keep them, they will thank you.

It's easier and perhaps "cooler" to keep your glasses on your head or hanging from your shirt pocket... and quicker to throw them in your bag or pocket when you're in a hurry, but these daily gestures are harmful to your glasses and to the hinges that suffer the stress first and foremost.
